    Concept/Mission Statement for UchihaClan/LPK 2.0

    History
There are linkshells which last for weeks, those lasting for months and those lasting for years. However, only a few last on forever- even if there is no linkshell present.

UchihaClan was one of the first endgame linkshells on Shiva that still accomplished many great things that HNMLS did... without having to resort to HNMLS politics/drama. Vancroft was the original leader of UC and with odds stacked against us, UchihaClan tackled sky, notorious monsters, sea and dominated dynamis. We accomplished so much because the shell was blessed with many great and talented members. The shell remained intact despite the lure of HNMLS and remained steadfast in providing a fun and productive environment.

Even after UchihaClan ended in 2006- two linkshell generations developed by members who wished to continue where UC left off. Of the two generations, LPK (Lollipopkids) was the best linkshell that came from the UC family. LPK embarked on new frontiers including: Einherjar, several ground HNMS, Sea gods, salvage and accomplished many goals that UC was unable to do before. UC/LPK contained many of the most skilled players on Shiva.

During all of the transitions, UC's dynamis shell (SBL) remained intact long after Vancroft quit the game. SBL, lead by Garyko and many other members, became one of the longest standing and professional dynamis shells on the server. Even to this very day, the rules/best method of which AF2 is distributed, member's memories and legacy still lives on long after the end of SBL in 2009.

    Future
After LPK ended and thereafter SBL, no more generations or remakes were made on FFXI. Partially this was because many of the remaining members wanted to tackle areas of the game which weren't available before. While many members also quit FFXI.

Sincentius wanted to remake the linkshell on Shiva but the daunting task of seeking members and desire for tiring hardcore events seemed out of reach due to real life commitments.

However, hope seemed to be within reach with the new Final Fantasy XIV game! After the end of LPK, it was announced that FFXIV will be the next plateau for UchihaClan.

    FFXIV in 2010
Final Fantasy XIV is said to be for players who want to play casual and not have to devote a HUGE amount of time into a game. Not saying that devoting time into a challenge is useless... just sometimes it is nice to play when you want, how long you want and not having to worry about getting the best gear under ridged time frames.

In 2010, UchihaClan will come back but for FFXIV. The goal is to provide a fun linkshell that can handle many events without over stressing yourself. The shell will be social at first until we can adjust to the new game, and over time, provide assistance in the events that the game provides.
